When We're Helping Were Happy

Mayley loves to be a part of the action. She thinks she is so big to be holding one of her Daddy's tools.

Wes had to make some more rabbit cages with all the rabbits that we are getting over here. Wes gets out his tools and he has 4 instant helpers by his side the whole time. He has learned to be patient and let the kids pound in some nails. It takes him quite a bit longer but the kids are learning so much from their Dad.

Mayley loves to sit in our rabbit cage with the rabbit that Wes built. WE also catch her all the time eating the rabbit food. She loves the stuff and puts a hand full of it in her mouth everytime sne is outside by the rabbits

Bridget and Sam came down for the weekend and there was a costume contest for the Fall Festival. So we got all of the kids dressed in their costumes. It was really fun and Tillison ended up winning the grand prize of $50. That was really exciting.

Here are some pictures of Mayley. When I am getting ready in the morning I sit Mayley in the sink. We also went on a family bike ride and borrowed our friends bike stroller. It was so relaxing of Mayley. By the end of the bike ride she was asleep.

9 Months!!!

Mayley had her 9 month appt today. She weighed in at 14lbs 13 oz. She is in the 1 percent for her weight and she is 27 in long and is in the 30 percent for her height. She is starting to clap her hands and is taking a few steps on her own. She is getting her top two teeth now also. She is always smiling and gets into every drawer that is on the bottom. She also likes to climb on the dishwasher door and take everything out of the dishwasher for me. I feel like I just clean up all her messes that she makes. But I wouldn't trade her for anything

The Cabin

For the 24th of July every year we go to The Cabin in Lakeside. This is my favorite time of year. We get to perform with our violins as a family in Snowflake and we get out of the heat and it rains each afternoon. It is just beautiful at the cabin. Wes is mowing the lawn with Mayley. It doesn't seem like a chores when there is a riding lawn mower. Then I took some funny pictures of Briley with Kade and Carson. It is sad that these are the only pictures that I took out of the whole weekend.

Utah Trip

We had a blast in Utah. We went up on Friday and did a Triathalon on Saturday. That is a picture of all the Miner Boys in their wet suits. Lets just say we finished with room to improve next year. Yes, we want to do it again next year. I actually did the duathon with Erin. We did the 15 Mile Bike and 5K run. I was surprised that I wasn't muscle sore the next day. I was sore from sitting on that bike seat though. Ouch!

On one of the days we went on a hike with all of Wes's family up Payson Canyon. It was a beautiful hike and it ended at a waterfall. The kids had fun playing in the freezing water.

We also went and saw Travis and Allison Bright, A long time family friend, and it was fun to see them again. Travis plays for the BYU Football team and he took us on a tour of where all the football players workout and meet for meeting and we even went into the locker room. I was surprised that it wasn't stinky in there. That was really fun to do.

It was a really fun trip and it is sad to be home and back to the real world of cleaning and laundry. Thanks to all of you who let us spend the night and day at your house. It was so much fun visiting you.

Family Outing

Last Saturday we took a trip to Frye Mesa. The weather was perfect but the water was still really cold. It should be because the water is the run off of the melted snow on Mt Graham. It is beautiful up there and it is only about a half hour from our home. We will be taking alot more trips up there this summer. Maybe even camping.

Doctor's Appointment

We took Mayley to her 4 month checkup and she weighed 12 lbs and 12 oz. and 24 inches. She is so fun to have around the house. Aunt Diane gave us this blanket and Mayley has attached on to it. It is so soft and she will grab it and and bury her head in it and go right to sleep. Thanks Aunt Diane

4 Months Old!!

Wow time flys. Mayley just turned for Months. She is such a good baby and is always smiling. She just rolled over for the first time this past week. Now I can't just leave her on the couch and I have to buckle her in when I put her in her swing and bouncer. I just want her to stay my little baby. She is growing up to quickly.

I haven't posted any new pictures because we needed a new battery for our camera. We just got one and so I am trying to make up for not taking pictures for a while. Mayley is getting so big. She will be 4 months April 1st. She is so fun to have in our family and always quick to smile. We all love her very much.

Mayley's new crib set

Here are the pictures of the new crib set that I bought. Now I want to paint the room, but I don't know if I want to go green or purple. So if you have any suggestions please share. mayley looks so tiny in her crib. I going to start having her take her naps in there. I'm not ready to put her in another room for the night yet.

Going PINK!!!

She is getting so big. I wanted to get a bouncer so I could take her with me when I go from room to room and so I went to this consignment store that is up here and found this pink bouncer. It is so cute. And even better, I got it for 3.00. You can't beat that! It helped that I take clothes there that my kids have out grown so I had a credit there. I love that store! I also got the cutest crib set there. It is purple and green. I will post pictures of it when I get it all set up. It is so fun shopping for girl stuff.

Baby Mayley

Here is some pictures of Mayley when she is 6 days old. She looks so tiny. I will take some more pictures of her and post them soon. We forgot our camera at Wes's parents house while we were their over Christmas but we just got it back so I will be taking some pictures of her soon. I took her to her 1 month appointment yesterday and she is 8 lbs 6 oz. Still smaller than Briley and Colton when they were born. It is so fun to have a little baby.
Here is Mayley before her bath. She has a cute face here. She loves her baths but doesn't like getting out or getting lotion on. Maybe she will when it gets a little warmer out.
